AVON HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Founded in 1974, the Avon Historical Society is a volunteer, nonprofit organization whose mission is to identify, collect, preserve, utilize, publish, display, and promote the history and heritage of Avon.

BARKHAMSTED HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Barkhamsted Historical Society is working to preserve and share the history and culture of the Connecticut town of Barkhamsted.

BURLINGTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Burlington Historical Society preserves local history by keeping alive its culture, traditions and heritage through education, programs, exhibits and living history experiences, creating a legacy for current and future generations.

CANTON HISTORICAL MUSEUM
The museum’s extensive collection of 19th-Century memorabilia is housed on three floors in one of the original Collins Axe Company buildings. Built in 1865, the building was used for finishing agricultural plows.

EAST GRANBY HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Formed on May 23, 1976 during America’s Bicentennial year, East Granby Historical Society now celebrates 50 years, coinciding with America’s 250th. Their mission is preserving the history and raising awareness of East Granby, Connecticut for future generations.

FARMINGTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Founded in 1954, the Farmington Historical Society is dedicated to preserving the town’s history and educating the public about its significance.

HILL-STEAD MUSEUM
Hill-Stead Museum’s 1901 Colonial Revival-style house was designed by pioneering female architect Theodate Pope Riddle for her parents, Ada and Alfred Pope.

OLD NEW-GATE PRISON & COPPER MINE
Old New-Gate Prison & Copper Mine is nationally recognized as the first chartered copper mine and first state prison in early America.

The Salmon Brook Historical Society was established in 1945 and preserves the history of Granby for future generations.

The Simsbury Historical Society is a non-profit educational corporation founded in 1911 through a bequest of Abbie Sexton Barber to begin a “Historical Room” in Simsbury.

Stanley-Whitman House is a living history center and museum that teaches through the collection, preservation, research, and dynamic interpretation of the history and culture of early Farmington, Connecticut.

The Unionville Museum, founded in 1984, is a non-profit 501c3 organization housed in a historic Carnegie Library building in downtown Unionville owned by the Town of Farmington.
